About us
Tavira Garden is one of the most attractive residential developments in charming Tavira, established in 1991. It consists of apartment buildings and villas, as well as several shared facilities, including two swimming pool complexes (each with two pools), a restaurant, a tennis court, a gym, a BBQ area, and a pétanque (boule) court. All of this is set in green surroundings, with spacious gardens full of palm trees and carob trees. It is an ideal place for permanent living thanks to its peaceful environment and proximity to the town centre, and also for short-term stays due to the facilities that support an active lifestyle.
The condominium includes 17 apartment buildings and 10 villas, home to families from more than 15 countries. The development is self-managed by the owners through the Tavira Garden Owners Association. Properties in Tavira Garden consistently retain high value due to the quality of the environment and the available facilities. Many apartments are offered for short-term (Alojamento Local) or long-term rental. AL guests may use all of the facilities listed above.
Shared Facilities
The urbanisation features several facilities available to owners, their guests, and AL tenants.


LARGE POOL
The Tavira Garden Recreation Centre. The complex features two swimming pools with sanitary facilities, sun loungers, and parasols. The pools are freshwater. Both are unsupervised and deep; therefore, users do so entirely at their own risk and should have adequate swimming skills.
Access to the facility is electronically controlled and operated by magnetic cards.
Opening hours: daily from 8:00 to 20:00.


SMALL POOL
A quiet, family-friendly area with two small pools, including one shallow pool intended for young children. Equipped with sun loungers and parasols. Sanitary facilities are available. The pools are freshwater. Both are unsupervised; therefore, users do so entirely at their own risk.
Access to the facility is electronically controlled and operated by magnetic cards.
Opening hours: daily from 8:00 to 20:00.


RESTAURANT
This facility is operated by external tenants in accordance with their own business model and opening hours. From June to September, a Pool Bar operates at the large pool complex, managed by the restaurant staff.


TENNIS COURT
The court has a concrete surface. Priority use is given to those who have made a prior reservation. The booking system is available on our website.
The tennis court does not hold a sports activity license. Users access it entirely at their own risk.
Access to the facility is electronically controlled and operated by magnetic cards.
Opening hours: daily from 8:00 to 20:00.


GYM
The gym is equipped for amateur exercise. Priority access is given to those who have made a prior reservation. The booking system is available on our website.
The exercise equipment is unfortunately outdated and does not hold any certifications or licenses. Users access the gym entirely at their own risk.
Access to the facility is electronically controlled and operated by magnetic cards.
Opening hours: daily from 8:00 to 20:00.


BBQ AREA / BOULE COURT
Both facilities are available for general use and do not require prior reservation. In the event of simultaneous use, we rely on mutual understanding and cooperation between the parties involved.
Users are kindly requested to leave the facilities clean after use. The BBQ area should be free of waste and organic remains, and the grill/fireplace should be cleaned. The pétanque court should be raked and levelled after use.
BBQ users are reminded to observe quiet hours after 23:00.


GARDENS
The gardens are the showcase of our urbanisation. We take pride in our majestic palm trees, carob trees, and ornamental shrubs. All garden areas are open for walking and relaxation.
Dog owners are kindly asked to clean up after their pets. The gardens are equipped with an automatic irrigation system operating in different zones at various times.
We kindly ask everyone to care for the greenery and not to pick flowers during the blooming season.


The rules set out in the Tavira Garden Condominium Regulations apply throughout the Urbanisation. All individuals, both residents and guests, are required to comply with these rules.
Tavira Garden is a residential complex, not a tourist resort. Regardless of the season, many families live here permanently and follow a normal daily routine rather than a holiday schedule. Short-term guests are kindly requested to respect their peace and privacy, in particular by limiting noise after 23:00 during summer gatherings on balconies and rooftop terraces.
